Project Engineer

Libra-Plast AS is a leading supplier of hinged exterior doors and hatches in all types of materials for the international maritime industry. The company was established in 1954 and is located in Hareid, Norway, and Saldus, Latvia.

Project Engineer

Libra-Plast SIA is seeking a Project Engineer to join our team in Saldus. This role will be integrated into our global engineering team.

Work location: Saldus, Latvia

 

Key Responsibilities:

Understand customer requirements and, based on our product portfolio, create customized technical drawings to our customer.

 

Qualifications and Characteristics:

  • Education is equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in mechanical / electrical / civil
    engineering or relevant practical experience
  • Experience with 2D drafting (Auto CAD)
  • Experience with 3D modeling (preferably Inventor or SolidWork)
  • Good technical understanding and interest
  • High accuracy, paying attention to details
  • Good English (written and spoken)
  • Analytical and structured thinking.
